Is the product expensive?

Relative to the time and effort you put into maintaining your lawn and the costs' associated with it, NO! This is a one-time investment with absolutely no maintenance costs'. Depending on the product you choose and the size of your order, retail is $3.50 - $5 per square foot. For full installation including excavation, base construction and supply and installation of the Artificial Grass you can estimate $8 to $12 per square foot depending on size and access.

Can the product adapt to my existing topography?

Is drainage a concern?

Precision Greens takes great care in the drainage process. A curtain drain is installed to protect the area itself. The infill system absorbs much of the moisture that it is exposed to; the excess will drain through the backing into the rock base that acts as a drainage system in itself.

Can UV rays damage the product?

Our products come with an 8 year warranty. The warranty on this product exists for suppliers in such places as Arizona , Nevada and California which experience extreme heat for most of the year. The product is guaranteed to maintain its lush green look for years' to come, especially in the Pacific Northwest.

Will the product wear out from usage?

Absolutely not. The infill system takes all of the lateral foot abrasion so that the fibers remain strong for years. This is similar to the products being installed in football stadiums all around the world although we replaced the rubber in-fill with a dense thatch layer of secondary fibers. Although not recommended, our products can safely withstand the weight of a motor vehicle with no visible damage to the product.

Can your landscape grasses be installed indoors?

Yes.

What about debris?

Debris from surrounding trees, grass and plant life can easily be removed with a stiff bristled push broom, rake or leaf blower. Your product comes with instructions on stain removal.

How long does it last?

We don't know - Precision Greens hasn't been replaced. Based on historical performance and current testing, a Precision Greens artificial lawn is expected to have a 20-25 year life span. The oldest installation is located in Arizona and has been there for nearly 20 years. It still looks good and hasn't faded. Why doesn't it fade?

Precision Greens has a built-in UV protection solution that allows it to hold its color even under the most dramatic conditions. Independent studies show that a Precision Greens artificial lawn fades at a rate of less than 1% per year. This means that after fifteen years in direct sunlight, any color change will still be imperceptible to the human eye.

How well does it drain?

The engineering of the Precision Greens synthetic grass coupled with the crushed rock aggregate sub-base creates a wonderful drainage system for your yard. The backing on Precision Greens's artificial grass products is permeable for drainage and environmentally friendly at the same time. It also serves as a weed barrier. Can it stain?

No. If there is spillage of some sort, it should be hosed off to prevent them from attracting dirt and bugs. Detergents and cleaners won't harm or discolor the Precision Greens artificial grass products. Even paint can be softened with paint thinner and then rinsed off without impacting the fake grass. How hot does the grass get? Precision Greens Synthetic Grass does not stay as cool as natural grass which has water running through it, but it does not absorb and radiate heat like pavement, rock or brick.
